Historic Public Houses
Wimbledon has many historic public houses, each with its own particular ambiance. Some, such as the Crooked Billet pictured here, date back to the 18th Century. These hostelries, as you would expect, serve a wide range of food and drink. Particular local favourites are traditional beverages such as "Young's Bitter", or for the more adventurous, "Young's Special" and during colder months, "Winter Warmer". |
